learning to love as Jesus would love…

i’m off!

Well I’ve never done a blog like this before but I figured it would be an easy way to right down what happens while I’m gone…  On September 6th I’m leaving for Uganda for the next 8-9 months.  I’ll be volunteering for Restore International, an organization started by one of my professors, Bob Goff.  I’m headed to Gulu in Northern Uganda, the same area that Invisible Children is located.  Restore International just started a school up there and my main focus will be the purchase of land and development of school buildings so the school can have a home.  That’s it for now, we’ll see how often I can update this…

John, I am so stinking excited for you! What a calling and what a crazy adventure God has in store for you! I will be praying for your safety for God to move in mighty ways and for your joy to be overflowing. I got to see first hand how God has used you in lives this past summer and I can’t wait to hear about how he will use you in these next 8-9 months. I love you dearly my friend!

Loves!

It’s going to be wonderful John! You are in my prayers. What you are doing is such great work for the Lord and for these people.
